HATS AND STRIPES

Even though its beginning to feel like fall for most, its still about 100 degrees here in LA. As much as I want to buy pumpkins galore and eat anything pumpkin spiced flavor, it just doesn't quite feel right. At least not yet. I'll give it about one more week before I totally dive into fall festivities whether the weather permits it or not.

Fall really is a magical, idyllic season. We pile on the cozy knit sweaters, whip out our suede boots and warm up with festive apple cider or pumpkin spiced lattes, as we watch the colors around us change drastically. While I can't quite whip out a cozy knit sweater nor do I desire to warm up with a hot beverage, I can get festive with some fall accessories. I got this floppy hat from H&M last fall and am in love with it. It fits perfectly, which is hard to find and I love the shade of brown.

Whether you think you can pull off hats or not, give it a try. Its the perfect coverup for those "I haven't washed my hair in 3 days" moments. Just be sure to bring a friend along to get some feedback. Some hats will work and some definitely will not. Get a second opinion to make sure you don't wash away any money on an impulse purchase.
