COZY KNITS AND RIPPED DENIM

When it comes to my personal style, I like to keep it simple. I love to have a few drastic pieces to change it up from time to time, but on a typical work day, I like my outfits to be comfortable and functional since I'm moving around a lot.

For the longest time, I had been searching for the perfect pair of high waisted Levi's. I came across this pair at a thrift shop on Melrose and fell in love with their fit. I typically wouldn't go for jeans with this many rips and holes in them, but I wanted to give them a try.

Originally, they were way too long so I decided to cuff them. However, that just made them look bulky so I decided to cut them and give them that unfinished frayed hem.

Since these jeans have a lot going on, I kept the rest of the look simple and neutral with a crew neck knit sweater and suede ankle booties. You can find a similar top here and similar booties here, both from Forever21 at affordable prices.

This little furry friend (actually, not little at all) decided to photobomb our mini photoshoot, but I obviously didn't mind. She was so sweet and gentle! I want a dog just like her, she was precious and the perfect impromptu photoshoot prop.
