ALL BLACK ENSEMBLE

One of the things I loved most about NYC, when I lived there for a summer, was the fashion. More specifically, I loved the all black ensembles I'd see chic women wearing that looked so effortless. Younger women, older women, and just about everyone in between sported black head to toe as if it were the New York uniform. Even in the dead of summer, leather jackets were still a staple in everyone's wardrobe. It definitely inspired my sense of style and had me wanting to invest in some edgier pieces.

My absolute two favorite colors are black and hunter green. I feel as though those are the two colors that look best when contrasting with my pale skin and bright blonde hair. Those colors just seem to make everything else just pop. I figured no better place to take some pictures and a grab a morning pick-me-up than at Verve Coffee Roasters in DTLA, where the outside walls are covered in succulents, plants, vines, and all things green. I love how the outside is so colorful, yet the interior is sleek and minimal with bright white walls and industrial looking light fixtures.

My new favorite thing is trying new coffee shops every week, but this one is a staple because its right across from my work. How lucky am I?!

(Clearly was over taking pictures at this point hahaha)
