TSHIRT AND BOOTIES

While most people live for Saturdays, my favorite day of the week is Sunday. Aside from the slight panic that hits around 8 PM when you realize the work week is near, I love how productive my Sundays are. It's the day I tackle my laundry, do my grocery shopping and work on my blog. I get to move at a slightly slower pace and just enjoy the day, one new coffee shop at a time.

It's also the day I dedicate to exploring new places. A new years resolution of mine is to try something new each week like a new hike, restaurant, recipe, or visiting a new area of Los Angeles. This past Sunday, I went to one of my favorite coffee shops, Verve on Melrose Avenue. Then, I explored around the neighborhood with a friend, taking fun pictures with all the beautiful backdrops along our walk. We came across this massive green wall and fell in love with its beautiful shade of green with speckles of golden light as the sun shone brightly across it.

While I love dressing up every now and then, my uniform is pretty much casual chic. I'll wear a vintage tee and jeans, but pair it with a floppy hat or heels to make the look complete and polished. I got this basic cropped tee from Brandy Melville and paired it with some Levi jean shorts and Guess mid-calf boots. The sun was showing off Sunday with mid 70's degree weather and I couldn't wait to whip out my shorts again. This outfit isn't anything special or difficult to recreate, but its comfortable, cute and minimal, which in my opinion, is the best way to dress.
