THE PINK WALL

When my best friends came to visit last week, I knew I wanted to dedicate a day to brunching and exploring Melrose Ave. Aside from the amazing flea market that takes place on Melrose every Sunday from 9 AM- 5PM, there are tons of incredible cafes, thrift shops, boutiques, and restaurants.
We started our day exploring the local Melrose farmer's market, which is conveniently located right outside Alfred's Coffee (the coolest coffee shop that coined the term, "But first, coffee"). We each got our caffeine fix and bathed in the sun before it was time for brunch at The Hart & The Hunter.

As we walked off brunch and headed home to lay by the pool, we took a pit stop at the "famous" pink wall. Its pretty much a blogger's dream backdrop. We tried to pose effortlessly like the group of teenage girls next to us, but it only took a few minutes before I felt uncomfortable and started dancing obnoxiously instead. Same same, right?

I'll be posting a guide on how to tackle Melrose Ave. like a pro, making sure you hit up all the best brunch spots, thrift stores, and picturesque walls to pose with. Stay tuned!
