Melrose Avenue is one of my favorite streets to stroll up and down on the weekends. Between the coffee shops, dining options, beautiful backdrops, and quirky thrift shops, its hard not to fall in love with.
There are so many amazing spots along Melrose that I have yet to check out, but I have a few go-to areas that I can never get enough of.

First on the list, Melrose Place Farmer's Market.
Although this farmers market is pretty small, I love the selection of vendors and the easy-going crowd. Since it isn’t as popular or as big as other farmers markets in the area, most of the people there are just running errands, picking up some veggies, and taking the dogs for a walk. I like that it isn’t overwhelmingly crowded.
The best part about this farmer’s market is its incredibly close to two of my favorite go-to coffee shops: Alfred’s Coffee & Alfred’s Tea Room. Alfred’s Coffee is the super cool coffee chain in LA that coined the term, “But First. Coffee”.

I’m willing to bet you’ve seen the quirky, fun interiors and adorable cup holders all over Pinterest and Instagram. The cool thing about this particular Alfred’s Coffee location is that its linked up to an amazing artisanal chocolate bar shop. They have the absolute coolest packaging and the chocolate wall display of all their flavors seriously makes me feel like my apartment is missing something. Every home should have its own wall covered in chocolate bars, right?
In the same area, but along a different street, you will find Alfred’s Tea Room. This tea shop is one of the cutest I’ve ever been to and trust me when I say it definitely screams “Instagram me!”. As the title suggests, its all tea, matcha, and boba complete with a handful of pastry options. They also have cute mugs and other little coffee/tea shop goodies for purchase.

Another really fun, happening spot is the Melrose Trading Post. Its a massive flea market that takes place every Sunday from 9 AM – 5 PM. The amounts of vintage clothing is overwhelming and incredible. Theres also have live music and food+ drinks to enjoy while strolling around.

As far as brunch spots go, there are so many goodies to choose from, but the Hart & The Hunter is always a good pick. The interior is cute and quaint but there is outdoor seating as well. The food is delicious and the presentation is on point (how cute are the plates?). They're also really well-known for their bottomless mimosas.

After you've stuffed your face with endless avocado toast, there are tons of backdrops and shops to explore like the famous Paul Smith Pink Wall + the Made in LA wall.

Lastly, stop into a few of the vintage shops and check out all the amazing hidden gems, like these vintage high waisted Levi's I got from American Vintage.
