MUSUEM OF ICE CREAM

I love ice cream. Always have, always will. Between living next to Salt & Straw and discovering the gem that is Halo Top, its safe to say I never go too long without the sweet treat. This past weekend, my friends and I headed to The Museum of Ice Cream in downtown LA to see what all the hype was about. The Museum of Ice Cream had been popping up on my Instagram feed for the past few months so I was excited to see the cute backdrops and pool of sprinkles in person.

Upon entering the millennial pink brick building located in the Arts District, we were greeted with delicious chocolates and even more delicious ice cream. Each room was perfectly crafted for Instagram backdrops and playful boomerangs.

Each room provided a different experience complete with cute little treats. Some rooms were good old fashioned ice cream, whereas others dished out gummy bears and black licorice. This room was the mint room, where they handed out mint mochi ice cream and taught you how easy it is to grow mint and cocoa at home.

Last but not least was the pool room and by pool, I mean pool of sprinkles. However, full disclaimer, the sprinkles were not real but thats probably for the best. It was definitely the best part of the tour in my opinion. Its not every Friday you get to swing from banana swings, have ice cream for dinner, and jump into a pool full of rainbow colored sprinkles.

^^ When your friends are trying to help you get a cute "toss sprinkles in the air" picture, but they're actually just pelting you with sprinkles asking if they got the shot.

The sneakers I'm wearing are Sam Edelman from DSW and are currently on sale for $30. They're really comfortable and versatile. The sweater is a recent purchase from H&M and I'm completely in love with it. The fabric is perfectly cozy without feeling too hot or heavy. It's definitely going to be a sweater worn on repeat this fall.
