LEOPARD LOAFERS AND LED ZEPPLIN

I've always been a big fan of bucket lists. Blame it on my love for lists, but I get a lot of excitement about taking on new goals and adventures. I probably have about 5 different bucket lists that I'm constantly checking up on and seeing what I can cross off next. Its my way of holding myself accountable for branching out.

I have my general bucket list of 100 things I want to do before I die, ranging from riding an elephant in Thailand to milking a cow. As you can see, some are more adventurous than others but equally exciting in my eyes. I also have a bucket list for places to go and things to see in LA as well as one for California in general. Some major items on the list include camping in Joshua Tree, road tripping along the coast, and hiking Yosemite. I've discovered so many incredible places spread throughout California thats its hard to keep up, but I definitely want to see every magical, beautiful place in person. Alas, the bucket list.

Recently, I added one more bucket list to the running: a coffee shop bucket list. If you know me, you know there is nothing I love more than cute aesthetics and coffee shops. I love the surge of energy and creativity that hits me the moment I sit down. While I enjoy being alone, theres something so comforting about being surrounded by people all working on something themselves. I enjoy listening in on others' conversations and snapping pics of my surroundings. To make sure I don't go stir crazy working from home, I created the coffee shop bucket list to explore my surroundings (and to get out of my sweats and look presentable).

Through Pinterest, Instagram, and various Google searches, I curated quite the list. This past week, I went to Carrera Cafe on Melrose. As you can see, the interior is stunning and very parisian-esc. They have tons of food and drink options, but the coolest part is the latte art. While I stuck to a simple latte, they offer tons of designs to take your insta-game to the next level. You can check out their Instagram here and see for yourself!

I kept it casual with a vintage tee (per usual) and some mom jeans (again, per usual). However, I decided to add a little quirky edge with these leopard loafers. I love myself a good ol' loafer. When people think of neutrals, they often thing of beiges, tans, and whites. However, leopard is actually a killer neutral. I'm a firm believer in pairing anything and everything with leopard. You cannot go wrong. While it can act as a statement piece, there are also so many ways to have it blend in with your outfit without stealing the show. Whether it be a simple leopard clutch, wallet or loafers, I definitely recommend you show your wardrobe some leopard love.
