OVERALLS AND TUBE TOPS

Finding the perfect pair of overalls has the potential to be, dare I say, even harder than finding the perfect pair of jeans. Pulling off "effortlessly vintage chic" versus "disheveled farmer Joe" is a fine, fine line. Also, there are so many factors to consider. Light wash, dark wash, holes, no holes, baggy, fitted? It can be an overwhelming process that ends with you sitting on a pile of overalls in the fitting room wondering if this look just isn't for you.

After years, (yes, years) of searching for the perfect pair of denim overalls, I found just what I was looking for at Forever21. While my days of shopping there are coming to an end, I always give them one last look before giving up entirely on whatever I was looking for.

I decided to wear this baby blue tube top from Brandy Melville with a lightweight cardigan from Target incase I got too cold from the ocean breeze air or too hot from the afternoon sun. It ended up being the perfect outfit for a day of varying temperatures.

Also, if you live in LA. I highly recommend you check out Great White in Venice. Aside from the charming and beautiful aesthetic, its got a great location (right by the famous Venice street sign) and an even greater menu. I got the blue smoothie bowl and almond latte, but I could've closed my eyes, pointed anywhere on the menu and been happy with what I chose. It's a great brunch spot; always busy and perfect for people watching, dog petting, and some serious outfit envy.
